Prefabrication Workflow

By incorporating modular installation SKIDs and leveraging Quad Engineering’s prefabrication process, construction projects can experience improved quality, shortened timelines, reduced waste, enhanced safety, and increased budget efficiency.

Prefabrication Workflow for SKID’s Construction:

  1. Digital Design and BIM Model Creation:
  • Initiate the process with a digital design.
  • Convert the design into a Building Information Modeling (BIM) construction model.
  • Develop a 3D production drawing from the BIM model.

2. Manufacturing in Belgrade Factory:

  • Carry out manufacturing at the factory in Belgrade, Serbia.
  • Weld and assemble installation components within a controlled environment.
  • Perform testing and compare prefabricated parts to the BIM Model, including a 3D scan on-site.

3. Transportation to Construction Site:

  • Transport the prefabricated SKID’s to the construction site.

4. On-Site Assembly:

  • Offer the option of supplying technical staff to assist with on-site assembly if needed.

Benefits of SKID Prefabrication:

  1. Enhanced Quality:
Prefabricated modules are built with meticulous attention to detail in a controlled environment, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  2. Reduced Timelines:
Simultaneous completion of site preparation and component production leads to substantial reduction in construction timelines.
  3. Waste Minimization:
Prefabrication minimizes material waste compared to traditional construction methods.
  4. Fewer Transport Movements:
Most construction processes occur off-site, minimizing the need for multiple material transports.
  5. Safer Working Environment:
Hazardous work is performed off-site, creating a safer on-site environment for workers.
  6. Budget Efficiency:
Predictable costs, reduced waste, and minimized delays contribute to staying within budget, lowering the risk of unexpected financial challenges.
